This policy explains what Brand Chief, LLC collects when you use brandchief.com or contact us, what we do with it, and what we do not do with it. We have tried to describe our actual practice rather than reserve rights we do not exercise.

Information collected automatically
This site keeps a simple visitor count. When you load a page, your browser generates a random identifier, stores it locally on your device, and sends us three things: that identifier, the page you are on, and the site that referred you.
That identifier is a random string. It is not derived from you, it is not linked to your name or email, and we cannot use it to identify you. It lets us count returning visits rather than treating every page view as a new person. Clearing your browser storage removes it.
Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and diagnostics.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies. The visitor identifier described above is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and is not shared with anyone.
What we do with it
- Respond to you. Contact form submissions are emailed directly to our team. We use your details to reply and to continue that conversation.
- Count visits. We produce an internal weekly summary of how many people visited the site and which pages they reached. It contains no personal information.
- Keep the site running and secure.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal information. We never have.
- We do not share your information with advertising networks or data brokers.
- We do not use your contact details for unrelated marketing. If you write to us about a specific enquiry, that is what we reply about.
- We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels or third-party tracking on this site.
- We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you.
Who else touches your information
We keep the list of third parties deliberately short. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or where necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
LinkedIn advertising
We advertise on LinkedIn. If you submit your details through a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form, LinkedIn provides that information to us and we handle it exactly as described in this policy — we use it to respond to you, and we do not sell it or pass it to advertisers.
LinkedIn's own collection of your data is governed by LinkedIn's Privacy Policy, not this one. You can manage LinkedIn's advertising settings within your LinkedIn account.
How long we keep it
- Contact enquiries: kept as email for as long as the business relationship or enquiry is live, and then for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
- Visitor counts: kept in aggregate. The random identifier is not retained in any form that could be connected to you.
- Server logs: retained for a short period for security and diagnostics.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- give you a copy of it;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it; or
- stop using it for a particular purpose.
Email privacy@brandchief.com and we will respond. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, you have the rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring an opt-out. In the preceding twelve months we have collected the identifiers and commercial information described above, for the purposes described above. You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.
Residents of the EEA and the UK
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our lawful bases are your consent (which you give by submitting the contact form) and our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, understanding how our site is used, and keeping it secure. You may withdraw consent at any time, object to processing based on legitimate interests, request portability of your data, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Information is processed in the United States.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and hosted on Amazon Web Services. Access to contact enquiries is limited to the people at Brand Chief who need to see them. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the number of places your information travels deliberately small.
Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
